There is no strict dress code, we want you to wear whatever makes you most comfortable!
This is an opportunity for you to get as dressed up as you want.
Most importantly, wear something that allows you to dance the night away!
Florence is the closest major airport to the venue (about 45 away minutes by car).
However, you can also fly to Milan or Rome and travel to the area – both are about 3 to 3.5 hours away by car or train.
From the airport you may either rent a car or use public transit to get to Poggibonsi.
Please let us know your travel plans and we can help coordinate if anyone would like to share rides.
Public transit directions from Florence:
- Train (Trenitalia)
- Taxi or Uber
- Take the 131 FS Bus to Poggibonsi. From there you can call a taxi (about 5-10 minutes from the venue).
Public transit directions from Milan:
Unless if you are going to rent a car, we recommend that you take a train from Milan to Florence (Firenze). This train takes about 2 hours. We have two options below. Once you are in Florence you can follow the directions above to get to the venue.

Unless if you are going to rent a car, we recommend that you take a train from Rome to Florence (Firenze). This train takes about 1.5 hours. We have two options below. Once you are in Florence you can follow the directions above to get to the venue.
There are many places to stay in the nearby towns of Poggibonsi and Cotte di Val d'Elsa.

What will the weather be like?
In September in Florence you can expect beautiful weather, not too hot and not too cool, very little rain and fairly long summery days.
Are children welcome at the wedding?
While we adore your children, this will be an adults-only celebration.
Can I bring a date?
If their name is stated on your invitation. If you are unsure, the RSVP form will also list all invited guests in your party.
Can I transfer my invite to someone else?
Invites are not transferrable. Only the named individuals on your invitation are invited to attend. We are sorry but we are unable to make exceptions.
How will we get to/from the wedding?
When final RSVPs are sent, we will be requesting information on where you will be staying. We will then be arranging shuttles to/from these accommodations on the wedding day. If you don't stay at one of the recommended locations, we recommend using ride share services or renting a car.
